The Santa Fe midsized SUV has also received a complete overhaul for its fifth generation. It now features a larger wheelbase, a more powerful standard engine with 277 horsepower, and a generous third row of seating. Both hybrid and plug-in hybrid models have undergone a similar upgrade.

The Sonata mid-size sedan has received significant changes to the daytime running lights, steering wheel, rear bumper, and taillights. The 1.6-liter, 180-horsepower engine has been dropped in favor of a 2.5-liter, 192-horsepower engine with the option for all-wheel drive. Two 12.3-inch touch-screen displays are now integrated into a single curved monitor. Finally, the gear selector has been moved from the center console to the steering column.
